Stamping and masking

Day five of the Stretch your dies classes Dawn Woleslagle shared a great way to use coordinating dies and stamps to make oh so pretty backgrounds: Die cutting the image from masking paper, inking up the background and then, after removing the masking paper, stamping the corresponding stamp. It was much prettier done with a solid flower stamp but I didn't think I had set like that. (Including dies that is.) I was wrong. Looking for the "Sending & wishing" stamp set in my stash I came across my "Whimsical flowers set" so now I'll have to try that one out as well.
