Tri-fold card

Jaha, nu är det dags igen! Nu kommer det inlägg efter inlägg med olika tekniker eftersom jag precis gått en teknikkurs igen. Den här gången är det "Clean & simple 4 - Techniques made simple", även denna gång på onlinecardclasses.com. Jag tycker det är ett utmärkt sätt att lära sig på: tydliga videoinstruktioner plus allt material i en praktisk pdf som jag alltid printar ut och sätter i en pärm. (Jag är inte så förtjust i att ha dator eller iPad framme när jag pysslar.) 

Vi hoppar rakt in i kursen på dag 6 där temat var "Fab with five", att skapa fina och intressanta kort utan så mycket material. Nu vet jag inte om jag höll mig till fem, och inte blev det särskilt clean & simple heller, men jag anammade en av kortidéerna: kortet är vikt i tre delar och har en utstansad die som leder till nästa sida, om ni hajar. Det kändes som en utmärkt idé att testa det här till veckans utmaning hos Paper smooches "Anything goes". Fröken Kissekatt kommer från setet "Party posse"

Ok, here we go again. Now there's gonna be post after post showing different techniuqes since I've been taking a class again. This time it's "Clean and simple 4 - Techniques made simple" hosted by the wonderful ladies at onlinecardclasses.com.  I find it an excellent way of learning: detailed video instructions and also a handy dandy pdf which I always print out and keep in a binder as a referens. (I'm not so keen on having the computer or iPad at hand while crafting.)

We're going to dive right into the class to day 6 when the theme was "Fab with five", all about making interesting and beautiful cards with less material. I'm not sure I stuck to five, and it didn't turn out very c&s either, but I really took a liking to one of the ideas: a tri-fold card with a die cut aperture sort of leading to the next page, if you get what I'm saying. I thought it was a good idea to try this technique for this weeks challenge over at Paper smooches, "Anything goes". Miss kitty cat is from the set "Party posse".

The card looks kind of stupid standing up like this....

... men om man lägger det ner och stänger det (med en
jätteglittrig partynagel) så syns effekten bättre.
...but if you put it flat down and keep it closed (with a very 
sparkly party nail ) you get a better idea of the effect. 

När man öppnar upp vänstra sidan så hamnar
7:an mitt i en text....
When you open up the left flap the no 7 
ends up in the middle of a sentiment....

... och de utstansade ballongerna blir en liten dekoration längst
ner med gott om utrymme att skriva en hälsning ovanför.
...and the diecut balloons make a decorative little border at 
the bottom with plenty of space to put down your greeting.
